Helping your Children to Read

We started this academic year implementing our new school Rocket Phonics scheme for EYFS and KS1 pupils. Our children learn to read through whole class teaching and consistent daily phonics practice.

We use this in conjunction with visits to the library to encourage reading for pleasure and home reading.

We are busy organising events throughout the school year to inspire, motivate and encourage all our children to read and be the best readers they can be.

But we also really need home support to help your child on their reading journey.
